The streets were crowded and the traffic was crazy. You were crushed between the bodies of complete strangers as you waited for your friend Alfred Jones. Today was Black Friday and was a very serious thing. Ever since you were ten when your mother took you to your first Black Friday you treated it like a war. You drew up battle plans, evasive maneuvers, and planned your route quickly. You invited Alfred since he had never gone, which surprised you, but he was taking forever. You already lost your perfect spots which made you quite angry seeing as you had to form a new plan to make up for it. The large clock in the middle of the store read 5:57 p.m. It officially started at 6. If he didn't make it then you would have to go on without him and if he did show up he would have no help. You would feel bad about leaving him to fend for himself, he was quite a softie besides his unnatural strength. A tap on your shoulder caused you to go in defense mode and you sent your hand back. *SLAP*

"(F/N)!" Alfred cried as he fell. You blushed from your mistake and helped him up. His right cheek was a bright red color. As you studied the injury you looked as his eyes. They were so bright, the color of the sky on a summer day, the color of the ocean. You could look into his eyes for a long time but sadly you couldn't. The announcer called for the start of Black Friday. You grabbed Alfred's hand and made for the laptops. You were second in line. So far so good. Alfred recovered from the hit and continued to speak. "This seems fun so far." You heard the sarcasm.

"Sorry Alfie. It was self defense. After a few of these you learn that they come in handy, especially when they reach for what you want." You tossed the laptops in the cart and sped towards the discs. You your keen eyes you grabbed the discs that looked interesting. Even some crappy ones that were really cheap. Alfred tried to keep up with your cheetah-like pace he was to inexperienced and kept getting caught in the crowd. A few rabid teens nearly tackled him, thinking that he was going to take the last Skillet CD. When you looked back he wasn't there. You panicked. Anything could happen to him here. Especially with all this madness. Now was the time to make the decision, Alfred or savings. You looked down on the map and thought of another route. You spun the cart around nearly hitting a small child. You called for him but you couldn't hear him of the shrieks. You traced your steps and found him in an empty corner. "Come on!" He was terrified. His eyes were wide as he watched these people lose their minds, like demons they attacked each other without a second thought after simple items. He kept thinking why he let you convince you to come. You also had a crazed look in your eye and he decided that it might be best that he stick with you.

He managed to keep up with you this time around. You went past the toys where you could see the stressed parents and scarred children. He watched as you wove your way around these people and he thought about how coo. that was. You were like a hero! You saved him at least. Books were thrown into the cart. Thankfully the next stop was right next to there so you placed Alfred by the cart to keep watch it was risky but you needed new games! You wished him luck and leaped away to join the war. He was worried fr your safety but little did he know that a few people were watching the cart, slowly creeping toward it. He promised to keep that cart safe and that is what he will do! He finally noticed the people and glared at them and clenched his fists, trying to look intimidating. It worked and they fled. When you came back you had an arm full of games for multiple consoles. "You did a great job! Congrats!" He blushed when you said this and you thought it was cute but you had no time. There were still a few more stops. Alfred seemed to be in a trance for the rest of the trip. Maybe he wasn't cut out for this.

The lines were short thanks to you being a good planner and finishing before most people. Alfred had done a good job defending the cart, he even got a few items himself! When you were outside the store you sat on the bench, exhausted. "I had fun tonight (F/N)." Alfred declared smiling brightly. You smiled at him, happy that he had fun. "I do not think all that chaos is for me but if you need someone to defend you and the cart i'll come."

"Wonderful!" You said before going in for a hug. His face turned bright red and hugged you back. He held on for a while and it was awkward. He released you and made plans to meet the next day. His face came close to yours and your lips met his. At first it was hesitant but when you kissed back he swiped his tongue on your bottom lip where you parted your mouth and he entered. You pulled away for oxygen, your face redder than a tomato and managed to say, "S-so i'll s-see y-you tomorrow." You stuttered a lot when you were embarrassed or really happy.

He kissed you one more time and said, "You know it."

I actually have a fear of Black Friday shopping, but it may have something to do with my fear of large crowds.
