The Kats Motel is a terrible place, a place of doom, a place of death. Many came before you and your family. They have met with a terrible fate. No one knows what happened to them and no one has ever thought about looking for them. This place is truly hell. The eyes that follow, the killers that spin their webs, and the mastermind behind it all. The ground is stained red and littered with feathers, fur, and strips of cloth. The air was stale and the wind sounded like shrieks and moans of pain. The Kats Motel would stay forever and whoever goes in will not come out.

The truck zoomed down the old path leaving behind clouds of red dust. Your grandfather Eustice grumbled about the weather and Courage like always and your grandmother Muriel stared out the window. Courage sat still between the two of them. You were the unlucky one stuck in the bed of the truck who occasionally hit their head whenever there was a bump in the road. It was quite late and the sun has been down for a while. You were very tired and fell asleep once or twice only to be jerked awake by gravity. Hopefully there was a motel or something nearby. You called up to the front, "Isn't there supposed to be a motel to stay at around here?" Eustice grumbled something you couldn't quite understand. You sighed and slumped back. Soon the truck stopped altogether and you regretted asking to stop. The walls outside were stained brown and began to peel, the windows were filthy and shattered, and the doors were covered in claw marks almost as if someone tried to get away. Not to mention the spiderwebs. These things were huge! You had a huge fear of spiders. They stepped out of the truck and left Courage outside for there was a no dog policy. You almost envied him. The man, no cat, inside gave you two rooms. One just for you, how wonderful.

The carpet was an ugly shade of white with patches of brown and the occasional red. The bed matched. How nice. The painting whose eyes seemed to follow wouldn't budge and the tv wouldn't work. You could hear your grandfather's snores from the other room. The cat guy, who calls himself Kats, gave you some bad vibes. He kept turning his head to the back room where strange noises could be heard. A strange clicking sound. You turned your head to the corner which was practically hidden in the dark. You could make out A SPIDERWEB! Your face became pale at the thought of a spider in the same room as you, watching you, waiting to suck the fluids from your body. Muriel screamed and you jumped causing you to fall off the bed. Courage began barking like mad. Muriel begged for help, for someone to save her. You heard clicking. You bolted out the door and went straight into Katz. You both tumbled onto the floor. "She needs help!" You cried.

"I know." He stated with a bored look on his face. He just stood there while she could be dead. "Everything is going according to plan." He continued while opening a box he had with him. A long leg stepped out following a large circular body.  A very big arachnid! It was larger than your head and it was jumping out at you. You started to crawl backwards and it picked up it's pace. You pushed yourself up and fled. You could hear the legs making contact with the wall. You kept going, the hallways formed a maze, passing picture after picture. Your heartbeat quickened. Poison seeped from the spider's fangs. Tears began to flow as you imagined the worst. You and your family were going to die. The Kats Motel would be your final resting place. You found yourself in the lobby and you ran to the private room.

It was dark and damp. Human bones littered the floor and mold covered the walls. It was void of any furniture besides the huge spider web. Eustice was still sleeping while he was wrapped up in the webs. You couldn't see the spiders that created it so you tried to untangle him. The web was sticky and you couldn't get out. You pulled and jerked but it wasn't working. You yelled at him to wake up but he wouldn't! He might be poisoned, slowly dying in his sleep. You think and you realize that you haven't heard Courage or Muriel in a long while. They might be dead to. The door creaked open and dozens of large spiders flushed in, covering the floor and walls. One crawled up your leg slowly making its way to your neck. The eyes targeted on your jugular. The eyes had a deep red tint to them. You did not make a sound nor did you move. You held in your screams and tears. Kats waltzed in his eyes seemed to glow causing shadows along the remaining space in the wall. He nodded and everything went dark.

The Katz Motel claimed another family. The screams were never heard for they are in the middle of nowhere. Do not fret for now you know to never enter here. Never go where there are scraps of the dead. Do not tread where the wind shrieks. The motel will stay hidden until it finds more worthy prey.
I was watching this show and I thought what would have happened if they died and what they would have felt. I made it so you could feel the fear as well. Please leave comments on how I did!

Courage and the others do not belong to me!
