New Year's Kiss Alfred Jones x Reader

We enter in to see a young woman scurry around her home. Today is New Year's Eve and she was not prepared to host a party. Sadly, everyone expects her to and will be there shortly. She ordered food and is trying to bake some sweets. Sadly, she had burnt most of them, and just ordered that to. However, the delivery service was running late. What was she going to do?

"Crap!" you exclaimed as you tried to find a radio. This morning your best friend, Alfred Jones, called you and said that he couldn't wait to come over. You asked him why he was coming over today and he told you that he was going to help you host a party since it was New Year's Eve. Normally you didn't celebrate so you had no idea what you needed and he hasn't come yet. Hopefully he brings drinks like he said he would. It was to late to grab any. Guests would be arriving soon!

The doorbell rang and you quickly opened it. Alfred was finally here! "Thank goodness! I was afraid that you wouldn't make it on time!" you said. You pulled him in. "Where re the drinks?" you asked him.

"What? Oh the drinks. They are out in the car." he said.

"Go grab them!" you yelled as you shoved him out the door. He stumbled down the stairs, nearly tripping.

"That was uncalled for." he says as he carried the stuff in. Not only did he bring drinks, he brought a bunch of decorations. You gave him a huge hug and thanked him. you din't notice his huge blush as you put up the banner and bows.

Flashback:

You and Alfred have been friends for a while. For a few years actually. You actually met him at a New Years Party. It was one of the rare occasions you attended a party. You were sitting by yourself, your other friends seemed to have disappeared on you. No one had actually taken notice to you, and instead tried to find their lovers as the clock began to run out. Just a few seconds until it was January 1st. She sipped your drink as everyone began to count down. "Why are you all alone? Do you not have a date?" you heard someone ask. You lifted your head to see a young man, probably a year older than you lifting his hand for a greeting.

"No. I don't have a date. i did come with a few friends but they seemed to have left somewhere." you told him. You shook his hand. "What's your name?" you asked him.

"The name's Alfred Jones. You can call me Alfred." he said smiling. "And what is your name?" he asked.

"(FULL NAME HERE)." you told him.

"(Name), huh? I like it! It's almost time!" he said as he pointed to the TV. You began to count down with him.

"5. 4. 3. 2. 1. HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

End of flashback.

"Name!" you heard him holler from the living room. You went off to talk to him. When you stepped in it was like a a hundred parties just blew up in your house. There was confetti on the floors and tables, streamers hanging from the ceiling, and banners on every wall.

"Wow Alfred. You really outdid yourself this time." you said, stunned. How did he get this done so quickly? It would have taken you at least an hour. "How did you manage all this so quickly? Do you think you can decorate the kitchen as well?" you asked him.

"I have had a lot of practice." he tells you before leaving for the kitchen. After he is done decorating there is really nothing to do so you switch on the television.

The first guests to arrive were the BTT. You guess Alfred invited them. The first thing they went to was the karaoke machine. Oh dear. The next guests were the axis trio. They were usually nice guests, although Feli can be hyper. He had dragged Ludwig to the food table. He was probably going to make pasta or something. Kiku had begun looking at your books. You were waiting for the rest of the allies to arrive. They took a bit to arrive sometimes.

You heard knocking at the door followed by multiple voices. Everyone had finally arrived! They had all tried to enter at the same time. It was comical really. They split off to their own things. Most of the guests went for the drinks though.

MAGICAL TIMESKIP OF MAGIC~

Everybody seemed to be quite drunk. Besides you and a few others who had to drive home. Ludwig was trying to avoid a very flirtatious Feliciano who decided that he wanted to kiss all night. Gilbert seemed to be enjoying Matthieu's company. Yao ended up passed out on the couch. Ivan seemed to be watching over him for the time being. You lost track of everyone else. Even Alfred. It was about time they got back here though. The countdown has begun. "Everyone! It is time! Get back here!" you yelled. They all swarmed in quickly. You couldn't find Alfred though. It was to late to find him though everyone started to count. You sat down. How ironic is this? It almost reminded you of the first time you saw him.

10, 9, 8

"Hello there." Alfred said. He held out his hand. You smiled and allowed him to pull you up. "Follow me." he told you. He began to lead you away from the group. You could still hear them count down but it wasn't as loud. "(Name.) I need to tell you something." he held both of your hands in his.

"What is it?" you asked him but you felt that you already knew what he was going to say.

7, 6, 5

"I love you a lot. I have loved you ever since I met you but I didn't want to rush things. Will you be mine?" he asked you.

4, 3, 2

"Yes!" you told him. He smiled and wrapped his arms around you.

He leaned in and kissed you. You could hear everyone cheering in the living room. They were probably in someone's embrace as well. You kissed him back. He picked you up and carried you to the living room. You laughed. "You don't have to carry me you know." you told him as he set you down. All he did was keep smiling.

EXTRA~

"HOW AM I GOING TO CLEAN THIS!" you cried. The entire house was covered in stains and foods. How could they even manage this!? Yao was still unconscious so you let Ivan take him. It is his fault for drinking to much anyway!

"Don't worry! The hero will help you!" Alfred said as he kissed you on the forehead.

Maybe leaning up won't be that bad. But will those stains come out?
